Just something spontaneous I decided to draw. I’m in another random period of having difficulty drawing. I’m trying to break through it T_T Hooray for cute strawberry girls, though! She needs a name :3

This is actually an older pic that I never really finished – I had other characters I was going to draw in there, but gave up after drawing my own. I know, I’m terrible. Actually you’ll recognize this from the current banner – but i haven’t posted the full pic before, so here it is.

The takoyaki tray with the different faces is Jessica’s idea =) Hooray for Yumberry!

So Jessica and I are working on starting our own little company that makes shirts, trinkets and other design stuff. It’s really fun and it gives me a chance to use Illustrator which I would otherwise never use =D

Yumberry comes from yumpoptart + acleverberry, our nicks online. I think it’s cute, but it’s already taken as a domain name, so we’re thinking something like ‘yumberrydesigns’ or something to that effect.

Below are some of the design ideas. The photo of the takoyaki sketch is by Jessica, she took it into illustrator and inked it and then I colored it =)

So last weekend I visited my best friend Jessica in Las Vegas =) I had fun, and I got to hang out with her adorable son Dylan and cute puppy Panda~ While I was there we tried our hand making shirts with the Yudu screen printer. It was lots of fun! I have some crappy camera pics that I took, I should upload those. I want to get one of them too, but they’re like $200 and I’m a little poor right now, so for now I’ve settled on cafepress! Ta-da~

Flash is driving me totally nuts. Having never dabbled in animation before, I decided to try some more rotary tricks. Rotary as in Photoshop. Hahaha. Anyway I tried to do a basic walking cycle but I only did 5 frames. Which took me like 4 hours. Even though it’s just some sketches! Argh. I didn’t even draw her hand! Animation takes forever I need to find some korean animation studio and give them money to do the inbetweening for me because i suck.

So, I’ve been trying to teach myself flash lately… *coughs*. I’m so terrible at it right now.

Rika from PSIV. I think I got a little ahead of myself by trying to convince myself that anime had to be really easy to animate since they use all kinds of cheap tricks which I figured I could employ. But boy it’s still hard. Maybe I shouldn’t be using Flash for trying to make an anime short..

My boyfriend is once again nagging me about the mascot art for animesuki.com – telling me that it’s getting cold and that a bikini just doesn’t cut it anymore. I feel kind of bad though, it’s like I’m taking on a monopoly of Kairin. o_o; Oops..

That’s supposed to be an asian paper lantern with a jack-o-lantern face painted on. Sorry my sketches are so rough XD;

So it’s October already. As you can see, the site’s been given a little bit of a face lift. There’s a Gallery page available now ^^

Here’s a sketch I’m working on right now. Gasp, more Phantasy Star stuff! It’s Nei-first, Nei-second and Nei-third. I hope to actually finish this one…

I wanted to do that one art meme where you take a pic you drew awhile ago and try to re-draw it to compare your skills between then and now. Anyway being that I’m still in a bit of Phanta mood, I did this old pic of Alisa I drew in January 2001.
