My boyfriend is once again nagging me about the mascot art for animesuki.com – telling me that it’s getting cold and that a bikini just doesn’t cut it anymore. I feel kind of bad though, it’s like I’m taking on a monopoly of Kairin. o_o; Oops..

That’s supposed to be an asian paper lantern with a jack-o-lantern face painted on. Sorry my sketches are so rough XD;

I’ve been meaning to do this for awhile anyway, since animesuki.com’s still using the winter theme Kairin I drew XD I decided to dress her up like Mugi from K-On, which is my favorite current show right now <3 It’s awesome! She actually wore that bikini and sidepony in the obligatory beach episode.

So here is my alternate winter outfit version for Kairin. Yes, I just drew new clothes on her. Also new hands and fixed some small parts elsewhere. I think I like this version better. Oh, and happy new year, everyone! ^_^ あけましておめでとうございます!

My boyfriend has been nagging me to draw the mascot from animesuki.com for the longest time now, and I never finished the sketch from the summer, so I started a new one as a winter/xmas theme. I actually started this in the beginning of the month, but I got bogged down by finals and only got around to finishing it now XD; I’m thinking of doing an alternate generic wintry outfit version as well.

Haven’t been up to a whole lot outside of my school and work schedule, but I have been playing a little PSO and have done a couple of doodles here and there.

Oh, and I also attempted to do the summer mascot artwork for AnimeSuki, but never finished it or did anything with it, so I just have this unfinished sketch lying around the depths of my HD.
